TTFE UPDATE 28/10/05

Change of Venue
With our stint at Heath well and truly over, I'm sure that everyone will be glad to go back to Sophia (I never thought I'd be saying that!). The last two matches which have been played at this temporary venue have not been the greatest of games, despite the early promise the pitch had shown.

27/10 TTFE at Heath
The result of the game played last night in accordance to the official hour rule (play continues past the hour mark but it then becomes 'just for fun') was 15-2 to Dale's team. Chris' team had to wait for 53 minutes until they scored their first goal of the evening! A bit one-sided to say the least but hopefully a few more regulars will be up for playing at the spiritual home of Sophia next week!

Final Score - Dale's Team 15-2 Chris' Team
Dale's Scorers - Jon R 6, Dale 3, Jon Pride 2, Matt Pride 2, Mike P 1, Own Goal (Joe) 1.
Chris' Scorers - J Pugh 1, Gaji J 1.

TTFE in League Action?
TTFE are considering some 5-a-side league action either in Leisure Leagues Arenas, or the newly established Llanishen Arenas. If you want to be a part of it, get on the forum and show your interest now!

Officially the final score was 19-3

The score on the video (which Jen recorded for us) was 15-2.

More goals were scored after the hour was up, but that does not count to the final score.

The word 'official' was used a lot there, what makes these rules and scores official? Who decides?

The onlything official is that Dales team won - it's official in my opinion cos eveyone agrees on it.

Peace Out.

I used the word 'official' only in jest, just as I would suggest that there is an 'official TTFEFA' (The Thursday Football Experience Football Experience), for example.

Furthermore, the hour rule was enforced reguarly down Sophia, so I imagined it was offcial in TTFE ruling.

As of course, nothing has been ratified by all the members of TTFE (well those who would even give a damn) so the use of the word 'official' perhaps was a bit a hasty and not thought through.

Therefore I use this opportunity to apologise to all those who were offended by this hurtfully placed form of diction. Quite rightly so, the only 'official' statement was the actual win in favour of Dale's team.

On behalf of all the TTFE admin and secretarial staff, I deeply apologise once more for this unfortunate error.

In reference to my previous comment, I meant The Thursday Football Experience Football Association. once again, sorry any confusion.
