It's not as good as dropbox yet (imo) but it is a lot cheaper and I think that once my paid for dropbox account expires, I will most likely be moving across to that.

Don't like the idea of someone other than me looking after the content I value most. I'll stick to my external hard drives.

Encrypt it and don't put anything too sensitive on there...

let's be honest though, you are insignificant to Google AND they are probably better at security than you are Wink

I can see my hard drives in front of me and they're not going anywhere. I think I'd cry if I lost my music.

Have you got multiple hard disk drives to protect against failure then?

NAS / RAID Array?

Do you have them within sight at all times?

Do you have off-site backups? What if there is a house fire?

What if you drop ketchup on the HDD?

I have 3 copies of my music. If there's a house fire, I'm running in to save them. They aren't kept anywhere that they can get ketchup on them. I do like ketchup with everything, but not on my HDD.

I don't know what NAS and RAID are.

Not a bad idea about off site backup. Might leave one of the drives with Martyn, lol.
