Post Post subject: WC2010 Sweepstake
Many questions will be raised in this thread, like:

+ Will this be the first time an African nation reaches the last 4 - or even win the tournament?

+ Will this be first time the English win the cup, so they can stop banging on about '66? Or will it be another 'x' years of hurt? (Try not qualifying for a major tournanment for 50 odd years, that's hurt)

+ Will this be the defining moment for Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney on the world stage?

AND most importantly...

Which games will Callum be seeing with his World Cup tickets already bought? Go on.. get North Korea and Slovenia.... Razz

WC2010 Draw - DISCUSS!

Would anyone fancy having a bet on the World Cup, teams would be drawn at random out of a hat

For Instance:

16 players - £2 each would give you two picks out of the hat for two teams and whoevers team wins gets 100% of winnings which would be £32 or maybe £20 for winner and £12 for runner up?

Just a thought

Yeah I'm doing a similar thing with work. So if one of you wants to do it with us lot, that'd be great. I say £2 a team. £35 for winner, £15 for runner up, £10 for third and £4 for fourth?

Well, maybe not exactly those prizes, but similar!

P.S. I don't think Brazil's group is the only group of death, check out Group D, and possibly Group E as well!

Thing is that means getting 32 people to join and I can only see getting half of that

Amazing.. my football talk raises no interest, then it turns into betting convo and it's all happening! Gotta speak in odds next time... Smile

EDIT

Needless to say I'd be interested, but knowing my luck on world cup sweepstakes I'd get North Korea.

If anyone wants to spread the word on this and get mates involved to boost the numbers, I can set up a Facebook group for information on who's got who, general banter etc..
